‘TIS A PRICELESS GIFT🎁

For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Of the increase of His government and peace
There will be no end,’ ( Isaiah 9:6-7).
Centuries before Jesus was born, his birth had been prophesied over and over again by God and then the prophets. Yes! God prophesied the birth of Jesus the Messiah. (Genesis 3:16) God said the ‘ seed of the woman’ which is biologically not right, either God knew what he was saying when He said this or He made a mistake. The man biologically speaking has a seed with which he fertilizes a woman but, at this particular scence, God the Creator talked about the seed of a woman… and centuries later, the Virgin Mary gave birth to Jesus. God definitely knew what he was saying.
Year after year, century after century, with every passing pain and struggle that mankind had to endure and the adversary the devil that man had to fight, God couldn’t bear it so he made some sort of provision to make the consequences of the disobedience of the first Adam bearable… hence, the blood of bulls and rams which were never enough propitiation to bring man back to God in perfect harmony like they were in the garden of Eden. God needed the vitality of His fellowship with man. He made us in His image and likeness which means that man looked like God and man thought, acted, responded and lived like God. An image of a thing doesn’t necessarily have to be like that thing. The devil came to steal and destroy that relationship man had with God. You know it almost seemed like the devil messed with the plan of God to have man fellowship with him and be like God has He had commanded because after the fall of Adam, the ground was cursed and man had to toil to make things work but God doesn’t play catch-up. Immediately man fell and he(Adam) realized, God already saw and spoke the bigger picture. A better convenant established on better promises. The birth of Jesus, the messiah. I can go on and on about how prophets corroborated God’s promise of the messiah with their prophecies and the angel appearing to the Virgin Mary about the birth of the Messiah, but I’d rather you get the gist about Christmas.

Hallelujah, God always had you in mind to give you abundant life. ( John 10:10)’ The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.’ You don’t have to worry about the disobedience of the first Adam or the curses that went to the ground. You really don’t have to bother about death or poverty, sicknesses or shame because The Savior was born over 2000years ago to restore us back to the Father, now with better promises than Adam or Abraham had. With all the years and vitality of God’s relationship with Abraham, the father of Faith, God could only describe him as friend! But you, friend are now a son of God, Joint heirs with Jesus .( Romans 8:17)And if
children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
Christmas has never been about that perfect holiday that happens at the end of the year. It’s about love and sacrifice. A time of memories of our lords birth. This is the day a king was born. A new government immerged out of the dust and gave hope to all who were lost. We can hope on the fulfillment of God’s promises over us because He fulfilled the first Prophecy (the birth of the Messiah). It is a priceless gift, rejoice and be glad for the reign of Jesus brings Peace and it has no end. Merry Christmas.

Forward step: You can now lay claim to all the promises that accompanied the birth, death and resurrection of Jesus because you are now a child of God as long as you believe that Jesus is the savior, so if you don’t believe that Jesus is the savior, now is the right time to and afterwards lay hold of your blessings through prayer and thanksgiving! Merry Christmas✨
